The Hotel Splendid benefits greatly from its location. The typical 19th-century Prague houses, which surround it, are interesting in their own right. The route to the Old Town from here takes you through the Letna Gardens, and takes just 10 minutes Hotel Splendid is situated close to the Prague exhibition ground Vystaviste. Tram stops are within 100 metres from the hotel. Several tram lines go directly to the Old town: it takes maximum 10 minutes by tram to be there. Prague castle is within 10 minutes walking or 3 minutes by tram. Old town is possible to reach by only 15 minutes pretty walk through the picteresque Letna Gardens. Rooms are with TV sat, telephone, bathroom and toilet. Rooms are tather modest, but clean and comfortable. Bathroom were renovated during the year' 2002. Hotel has good but not expensive restaurant, several saloons, summer restaurant, lobby bar, exchange service, safe and hair dryer on the reception.
